F A Q

- Can we use the firepit for our event?
     The answer is yes, but at your own risk & the fire must be kept small & only attended by an adult.

- Is alcohol allowed at our event?
     Yes & no.  Wine & Champagne are allowed at events, but no other alcoholic drinks are allowed.  And absolutely no loud, confrontational or disorderly conduct is permitted at Creekside Cottage.  The definition of loud & disorderly conduct is completely at the discretion of the owners and violators will be required to leave the venue immediately.

- How many people can Creekside Cottage accommodate?
     The short answer is 50 people.  We limit guests to 50 due to parking being limited & only having one restroom for
guest use.

- How many cars can you park at Creekside Cottage?
     Eight to ten cars can park at the cottage itself.  We live on a rural country road, so guests can easily park along the street.  And if necessary, permission can be obtained for guests to park at the property next door.

-  Are children allowed at Creekside Cottage?
     Yes, we love children!  However, Creekside Cottage is an outdoor venue in the woods with a creek nearby.  Parents must watch their children at all times.  No children are allowed near the creek, or in the woods behind the cottage or to be left alone at any time while at the venue.

-  Is the Creekside Cottage handicap accessible?
    The outdoor area has uneven pathways, but for the most part is completely handicap accessible.  The doors to get into the house are narrow however & it would be difficult to get a wheelchair in the Cottage.

-  Can we have sparklers or candles at our event?
     No sparklers or any other flame type products, including candles are not allowed at the cottage.  We live in a forest & must be vigilant about open flames.  However, battery operated candles are just fine.

-  What do we do with trash after our event?
     All trash after an event must be bagged in trash bags & deposited in the dumpster at the road.

-  Do you provide tables & chairs?
     We do have a lot of outdoor furniture, and the use of it is included in your booking fee.  But no other furniture is included.
